About Me
Hello! I am Özkan, a Computer Engineering student at Düzce University and the Software Team Leader for an UAV team. My engineering journey is driven by a deep passion for autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, and building reliable software architectures.
My primary focus is developing complete autonomous software stacks. I leverage open-source ecosystems like ROS2 Foxy on Ubuntu, integrating maintainable Python and C++ code. From real-time machine learning models (YOLO) to computer vision (OpenCV) for complex target tracking, I thrive on solving real-world challenges in Linux environments.
Beyond the terminal, I value global perspectives. Studying abroad at the Instituto Politécnico de Santarém in Portugal was a transformative experience that broadened my cultural horizons and sharpened my adaptability. Whether I am leading a technical team, building AI-powered web applications, or learning a new framework, my goal is always to turn complex ideas into functional, high-quality reality.
